All equipment is sold with a 12-month parts and labour warranty, alongside technical support available by telephone for software support, user issues and even preventative maintenance assistance. 

To ensure your onsite fuel systems are working as intended, and to avoid downtime caused by faults, we recommend regular servicing.  

Comprehensive After-Sales Service for Commercial Fleets 

We ensure your equipment is taken care of beyond initial purchase: 

  • All equipment is sold with a 12-month parts and labour warranty. 
  • Telephone support for software-related issues. 
  • Service contract with differing levels of support, from basic telephone assistance to annual preventative maintenance visits. 
  • Additional preventative visits and out-of-hours support are available at extra cost.  

Most customers choose our Level Three service contract, which offers the most extensive support, but we’ll work with you to find a solution that works for you.  

Benefits of our Service Contracts 

  • Response Time: We aim to attend to faults within 8 working hours during normal working hours (8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday). 
  • Priority Call Outs: Service contract holders receive priority call outs. 
  • Coverage: All normal wear and tear issues, including parts and labour, are covered at no extra cost. 
  • Call Out Charges: No charges for in-hours callouts due to normal wear and tear, inclusive of parts, travel, and labour within the UK mainland. 
  • Helpline Access: Free access to our customer helpline, with out-of-hours access available at additional cost. 
  • Software Support: Free software support for contract customers. 

Why do I need fuel management aftercare? 

Once you’ve invested in a fuel management system, it’s important to look after it with servicing: 

  • Extends the life of your fuel storage systems, saving you from a costly replacement.  
  • Prevents sludge, water build-up and contamination of stored fuel. 
  • Keeps your fuel monitoring accurate by protecting against clogged pipes, damage, and wear.  
  • Protects your worksite by keeping tanks safe and compliant. 
  • If your system is from Fueltek, you’ll have the experts working to keep it intact.

Pump Calibration for Onsite Fuel Equipment 

We provide one pump calibration visit per year at discounted rates. There are two pump calibration costs:  

  • Pumps manufactured and supplied by Fueltek (AP range) £125 
  • Pumps supplied by other manufacturers £150 

These rates are discounted rates for contract customers only. Please note that if a pump calibration and preventative maintenance visit is booked with the extended warranty at the discounted rate above, the visit can take place at any time during the contract period at the discretion of Fueltek. If a pre-booked date is required for the visit, the hourly rate of £85.00 for travel and site time applies. 

Preventative Maintenance Service for Onsite Fuel Management 

Customers receive one preventative maintenance visit per year at a discounted rate. 

All system parts and modules are covered under this contract, except for the following items (applicable only to customers with integrated fuel management/fuel pumps): 

  1. Fuel Hoses 
  2. Fuel Nozzles 
  3. Safety Break 
  4. Filters 
  5. Pump Priming 
  6. Poor Mains Supply 

Replacement and Service of Excluded Items 

  • In the event of failure, the above items will be supplied at parts cost only. 
  • Items are available as supply only, or we can attend site to fit them. (Labour and travel are charged at £85.00 per hour.) 

Callouts 

  • Fuel pump faults caused by foreign objects, dirt particles, or blocked filters will be charged at £85.00 per hour. 
  • Re-priming pumps will also be charged at £85.00 per hour. 
  • Electrical site faults (e.g., poor mains supply or blown mains fuses) will incur charges of £85.00 per hour plus a £85.00 callout fee.
