Product Page Optimisation – FT4000AP

The FT4000AP is a combined fuel dispenser and fuel management system built for organisations that fuel vehicles on site. It combines a fuel pump and access control in a single unit.

It is designed to control access to fuel, record every transaction, and provide clear visibility of fuel usage across your operation.

What does the FT4000AP fuel management system do?

The FT4000AP controls and records fuel dispensing at the point of use. It allows authorised drivers or vehicles to access fuel, enter required information at the keypad, and complete a transaction that is stored and available for reporting.

The system uses a Fuel Access Control Terminal (FACT) installed at the pump to manage access, data capture, and transaction storage.

The FT4000AP can control:

  • One internal pump
  • Up to three additional external pumps
  • Up to four pumps operating at the same time

Drivers can enter details such as:

  • Odometer readings
  • Driver identification
  • Fleet or vehicle numbers
  • Job codes

This information is recorded with each transaction, giving you a clear record of fuel usage.

How does the FT4000AP manage fuel data and reporting?

All transaction data is uploaded to Fueltek’s browser based fuel management software. This allows authorised users to access reports from any location with internet access.

You can:

  • View and generate fuel usage reports
  • Schedule reports for automatic delivery
  • Maintain driver and vehicle tables
  • Manage access devices
  • Monitor stock levels

The system stores a minimum of 2,000 transactions in non volatile memory between downloads. Even if there is a power failure, data is retained. Memory capacity can be increased if required.

This means you do not lose critical fuel data and you are not relying on manual record keeping.

What access method does the FT4000AP support?

The FT4000AP offers several secure access options so you can choose what works best for your operation.

Available methods include:

  • Datatag
  • Datadisk
  • Datacard
  • Magnetic stripe card

The Datatag and Datadisk are commonly used access methods. The Datatag is designed for reliable, long term use and allows secure identification at the terminal.

With no moving parts, maintenance is minimal. Access devices can be updated through the system and changes apply the next time they are used.

The system can also display messages to drivers or vehicles at the terminal when they next access fuel.

What pump specification options are available?

The FT4000AP is built as a commercial fuel dispenser and can be specified to suit different site requirements.

Pump speed options:

  • 50 litres per minute
  • 70 litres per minute
  • 90 litres per minute

The cabinet includes a lockable front door to protect internal components and maintain system security.

The overall dimensions are approximately:

  • Height 1590mm
  • Width 500mm

This robust construction ensures the unit remains reliable in demanding sites such as transport depots and industrial yards.

  • Controlled access to fuel
  • Accurate transaction recording
  • Reduced risk of unauthorised use
