Key System Components
The FT4000AB is a single pump controller (1 internal pump) that integrates specialised hardware with our industry-leading software.
Hardware: A highly specified Fuel Access Control Terminal (FACT) combined with a good quality, high-accuracy AdBlue pump (alternatively available as a dispenser with solenoid control if a remote submersible AdBlue pump is used).
Software: The FACT communicates with our browser-based FMO software, which is common to all our products and accessible from any location with internet access.
Intelligent User Interface: The FT4000AB incorporates a robust, heavy-duty telephone style keypad with alphanumeric capability which enables inputs to be made at the point of filling. Paired with a highly visible ¼ VGA back-lit graphics display, the system displays clear, concise messages in plain English to guide the user.
Vehicle and Driver Messaging: A message can be programmed in the FMO software and sent to the FACT. The next time the relevant Datatag is used at the FACT, a message will be displayed, perfect for reminding drivers to check AdBlue levels.
Data Storage & Reliability: The system has a memory capacity of 2,000 transactions between downloads to the PC. These are stored in non-volatile memory that does not require a battery back-up, which means even in the event of a mains power failure, the system will retain all data.
Access Method
The FT4000AB uses a Datatag as the access method as standard, but offers a choice of access methods including our robust & reliable Datatag Reader, Magnetic Card Reader, or Datanozzle Reader.
The Fueltek Datatag: A read/write tag incorporating high security authentication using a cryptographic algorithm. Designed to fit on a standard keyring, there are no moving parts, so maintenance is therefore low.
Guaranteed Durability: Datatags supplied are robust, reliable, easy to use, and guaranteed for the life of the system. Data retention is 10 years minimum, guaranteeing at least 100,000 read/write cycles.
Remote Programming: The Datatag is a read/write device that can be programmed with many operating parameters. It can be programmed either remotely at the FACT or at the PC.

Communication
The FT4000AB / FUELTEK FMO can support a number of communication methods.
GPRS Modems (Most Common): GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) is a wireless data service based on internet protocols. No call charges apply using GPRS as a small monthly rental fee covers an amount of data transferred.
Network Interface: Allows the FT4000AB to form part of a LAN / WAN.
Alternative Options: We can utilise Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or even cable RS232 or RS485 to provide a route into your own broadband connection if required.
Reporting
For reporting purposes, data is uploaded from the FACT to Fueltek FMO. Reports can be generated, scheduled for automatic delivery at pre-determined times, viewed and/or printed from any location with internet access.
The Main Tasks of FUELTEK FMO are:
- Communications to the FACT
- Programming Datatags / access devices
- Maintaining tables (Driver / Fueller / Lockout)
- Running Reports & Stock Control
- Backing up data periodically
FUELTEK FMO incorporates a report generator, which gives you the ability to customise your own reports.

Construction
The FT4000AB Cabinet is manufactured entirely from stainless steel. The unit is sturdy, robust and designed to operate in harsh environments. Because AdBlue is corrosive, all internal wetted parts are specifically engineered for AdBlue compatibility.
